I started in airfreight in 1980 as a trainee import clerk, and soon took an interest is all aspects of the business, eventually moving over to exports where I held several roles whilst climbing the career ladder. I am currently Managing Director of ECX Global Logistics, a brand which I established in the UK for the Eurocargo group in 2013. I have been a committee member for a long time, although I can’t actually remember how long, and have served as Chairman twice in the past.

Outside of work I am a keen rugby fan, and also enjoy cycling, although I have recently invested in a bike with battery assistance!
