    Welcome message from
    John Ward – Chairman

    Dear Members and Guests,

It is an honour and a privilege to be elected as the UKACC Chairman for 2018.

We have the pleasure of working in an exciting and constantly developing industry, which is truly global. As airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling agents, cargo sales agents and transport companies, to name a few, we reach most countries of the world with our can-do attitude and our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The UK has proudly produced many Captains of the Industry, and a good few of those charismatic personalities are members of the United Kingdom Air Cargo Club today. Working together with them, the committee and with all members, I look forward to bringing onboard the captains of tomorrow, to growing the membership, and to raising much-needed funds for this year’s charity, a charity so needing of those funds and one which sadly will be familiar to far too many of us; Cancer Research UK.

I wish you all a successful 2018, and I look forward to spending time with you all at the many exciting UKACC events throughout the year.

    Warm regards,
    John
